Climate change is a pressing challenge facing our families, economy, environment, and security, and we need to combat it in a way that creates jobs and opportunity for American workers. We don't need to choose between clean energy and economic growth, or between combatting climate change and creating jobs. These two goals are not mutually exclusive, but go hand in hand. I laid out bipartisan bills we can pass right now to address the worst effects of climate change while helping to create and support jobs across a wide range of industries. We should act now - in a bipartisan way - to address climate change and improve our economy.
