WASHINGTON, D.C. – This Wednesday, U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the Subcommittee on African Affairs, will be recognized by the United States Global Leadership Coalition as part of their annual tribute dinner. Also being recognized is Sen. Bob Corker, (R-Ten.), Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
The U.S. Global Leadership’s Annual Tribute Dinner comes as the USGLC celebrates its 20th anniversary of bringing together a “strange bedfellows” coalition of businesses, NGOs, faith leaders, academics, and national security experts on America’s international engagement.
This recognition comes shortly after Sen. Coons was featured in a Huffington Post article featuring three new foreign policy leaders in the democratic caucus, “The Democrats’ old leaders on foreign policy are gone or going. Meet the New Guard.”
