Senator Coons teamed up with the two officers shot at the New Castle County Courthouse in February to urge Congress to reauthorize the federal Bulletproof Vest Partnership. The press conference was held on May 31, 2013 on the steps of the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington.
Senator Coons visited St. Michael’s School in Wilmington with U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Governor Markell, Senator Carper, and Congressman Carney.
