Sen. Coons joins Rep. Carney at first “Veterans Office Hours” event, bringing together members of veterans service organizations to answer veterans’ questions about healthcare, finances, and other topics.
Sen. Coons was the keynote speaker for three international student/youth leadership groups at UD this summer – the Mandela Washington Fellowship program, Middle East Partnership Initiative Student Leaders, and Study of U.S. Institutes on Women’s Leadership. The event focused on the roles civic leadership and governments play in addressing the challenges of conflict resolution, refugees/displaced peoples, and a political system change.
