For too long, our national conversation on climate has been frozen. We launched the Senate’s first bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus to break through the gridlock on this issue and advance real solutions that can become law.

This caucus brings together an equal number of Republicans and Democrats who, like the Americans we serve, believe Congress should play a central role in developing strategies to tackle the impacts, causes, and challenges of our changing climate – from developing economic incentives to reduce emissions to promoting the role of agriculture as a climate solution to ensuring that any energy transition protects American consumers and workers.

“We come from different political parties and represent different parts of the country, but we recognize the importance of American leadership in addressing our changing climate. Republicans and Democrats have to work together, compromise, and find common ground.”

We aim to find common ground on climate solutions that will solidify American leadership, promote opportunities for American workers, and protect our environment for generations to come.
