Monday, February 2 at 5:30 p.m. — The Senate will vote on the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act. Wednesday, February 4 at 3:30 p.m. — The Senator will host a Senate Law Enforcement Caucus briefing on Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program. This program provides grants to states to support the establishment and expansion of voluntary, evidence-based home visiting programs to assist at-risk families with young children. Thursday, February 5 at 7:30 a.m. – The Senator will attend the National Prayer Breakfast celebration. The National Prayer Breakfast is actually a series of luncheons, meetings, and dinners, hosted by members of prayer groups in the House and Senate. Friday, February 6 at 10:30 a.m. – The Senator will participate in “Give Kids a Smile” event, a national program that provides free dental care to children from low-income families. Sponsored by the Delaware State Dental Society, “Give Kids a Smile” is the American Dental Association’s major oral health outreach program.
