On Feb. 28, 2020, Senator Coons joined Delawareans at the 2nd Annual HBCU Week Gala at the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware. The event brought together folks to raise awareness and funding for the City of Wilmington’s HBCU Week and related programs, which provide encouragement, support, and scholarships for young people to attend HBCUs.
