WILMINGTON, DE  –U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.) was scored the 15th most bipartisan member of the Senate in the newly released Senate Bipartisan Index from Former Senator Richard Lugar’s Lugar Center and the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.

“Delawareans didn’t send me to Washington to fight partisan battles, they sent me to get things done by working with both Democrats and Republicans,” said Sen. Coons. “When I come to Washington each day, my focus is on finding solutions to help improve the lives of Delawareans and Americans all over the country. That’s it, and that’s what I’m going to continue to do.”
